Jump, wiggle, jump, jump, hands-in-the-air, jump, jump....HIGH-FIVE!!! No, this is not a Wiggles interlude, this is the 'happy dance' my husband and I did after our youngest finished with potty training. NO MORE DIAPERS! Bottles are done. We're completely HOME FREE!

But, after four years, two girls and enough Toys 'R' Us Rewards points, I've learned what baby things I absolutely adore and couldn't have lived without. SO here's my TOP 10 Mommy-Must Haves:
Picture
ONE | Ergo Baby Carrier
I had a Bjorn, a Pippalilly and all were great but nothing compared to my adorable star, grey Ergo Carrier. I used it for both girls up until they were well over one year old. Looking back, this is probably way longer than I should have but this carrier was so well designed that I never seemed to notice the increasing weight. I went everywhere and my girls were comfy and close to me the whole time.

TWO | Vitamix
A complete luxury but something I still use on a daily basis. This is the ultimate baby food maker. No more boiling and batching your veggies--they all go in and in seconds, you're done! Saving time and effort all in one tidy super-blender. I also used it for me. Shakes and soups were a staple en route to slimming down and getting back to my fighting weight.

THREE | NUBY Suction Cup Bowls
How many bowls of porridge have you picked up off the floor? Now, be honest...
These bowls were amazing with my second child who was notorious for throwing a tantrum mid-soup or cereal. This Nuby products also come with a lid and hidden spoon which is a bonus for travel.  President's Choice also offers a comparable bowl too!

FOUR | FISHER PRICE Froggy Potty
I never thought I would think poop and then froggy and then cute...together!
We bought two of these babies (I mean froggies) and had one upstairs and down. The girls thought it was adorable that their potty smiled and for some reason, they thought that the smile appeared after they went potty! I didn't have the heart to explain...
When we traveled, we easily stacked these little frogs up and were able to have up and down training potties at any destination which is key when you're in training mode.

FIVE | AVENT Glow-In-The-Dark Pacifieramzn.to/2pVbB9c + amzn.to/2qBO0qkBOOGINHEAD Pacifier Leash
BOOM! Best. Inventions. Ever. Seriously! Night time and day time life-savers! How many times have you had to contort your body to find that stubborn pacifier that found its way under and to the back of the crib or has wedged its way between the mattress and bed frame. Having a little glow made all the difference when I was trying to do damage control before time passed and crying would ensue---5, 4, 3, 2...PHEW!!! Pacifier back in mouth and screams averted!
As for the Bogginhead Pacifier Leash, I can't even begin to count how many times I've had to pick up a dirty pacifier--at times, when I'm in a jam, I've had to take one for the team and eat the dirt that's collected on it. Having these super cute leashes clipped onto my child was a game changer. Game. Changer!

SIX | SKIP-HOP Grab + Go Wet-Dry Bag
Nuf said. It holds smelly wet things. We've used ours for dirty diapers when we're on the go and can't find a trash, for wet bathing suits, for gross burp clothes that I didn't want to store under the stroller and the list goes on. You name it. The best part, it has a front flap that you can throw a spare diaper in in a pinch! I must have washed this thing 200 times and it's still in great shape.

SEVEN | BUSY BIRDEE Crayon Take Along
I found this super creative Etsy shop that makes art portfolio carriers and because I love to ensure my kids are always coloring, I had the owner make two custom ones for my girls. These are brilliant for the rink (where I spend a good chunk of my life) and at restaurants. The girls pack them with paper and crayon (pens for my older daughter) and are responsible for carrying them in and out of wherever we are. Great for a little responsibility lesson and most importantly, as a creative outlet and time occupier! Get one...or two!

EIGHT | Contigo Water Bottles
If you would have asked me two weeks ago what water bottle I loved for my girls, I would have definitely jumped on the CamelBak Kids Water Bottles in a split second...until, I met these Contigo ones! These guys have a leak-proof top and the spout is hard plastic which is key to lasting the bites and chews of my little ones. I learned the hard way that cheap grocery store water bottles are just that--cheap! Spend the $12 and never worry about bringing home that soaked Day Care bag again!

NINE | Mally Bibs
Adorable. Canadian. Leather and high-style! Seriously, why didn't I find these earlier! I bought two and they are the only bibs I've ever used. They wipe dry in a pinch and are super cute out at restaurants. I love my girls but the tuxedo bib that Mally Bib's sells makes me want a little boy to put it on! Check out their website or visit their booths at one of the many OOAK shows!

TEN | mavisBLUE.com Lunchies
Shameless plug I know, but for real, I designed these out of necessity. I was sending four plus snack ziplocs to school each day with both girls. I felt terrible I was producing so much waste: 20 bags/week x 35 weeks=SEVEN HUNDRED ZIPLOCS! And, those come at a cost of around $20 kid. These little bags are vinyl lined and come in some really fun patterns to add a little flair to your little one's lunch bag. Gibson's teacher told me that she gets a kick out of seeing Gibby open her owl 'Lunchie' each day--"what's going to be inside?"  It's a little added surprise to her day!

If you haven't seen some of these items check them out and consider making a purchase! I can guarantee that they are well worth the investment. My husband and I tried desperately to not be swept up in 'all-things' kids' gear and we feel we did pretty well. Less is more these days, right!? So these items represent the ones that we did bring into our home as they made life easier, simpler and less messy!

So what do you think? Did we miss anything?
Is there something that you couldn't live without when your little ones' were just that, little?

Love all of these! I just had a friend make me snack bags and wet bags the size of gallon zip locks so I can include snack bag and Contigo in one place. 😀
